Pharmacological action Loprox Cream:
Ciclopirox and its derivative – ciclopirox olamine – antifungals broad spectrum of action. Bakteriostaticheski (prevents bacterial growth). Active against dermatomiietov (parasitic fungi of causing skin disease in humans), yeasts, molds and other fungi, as well as against some strains of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria.
Indications for use Loprox Cream:
Loprox Cream Treatment of skin diseases caused by pathogens susceptible to the drug. Treatment and prophylaxis of vulvovaginitis (inflammation of the combined vulvar and vaginal) and vaginitis (inflammation of the vagina), including recurrent (repeated) flow caused by fungi sensitive to the drug, especially yeast fungi of the genus Candida. Treatment and prevention of diseases of the mucous membranes caused by fungi sensitive to the drug. Treatment of onychomycosis (fungal nail disease). Prevention of fungal infections (for powder).
Instructions for use Loprox Cream:
The drug in the form of a cream or solution is applied to the affected skin 2 times a day. Duration of treatment for an average of 2 weeks, then in order to prevent relapse (recurrence of symptoms of the disease), the drug is used for 1-2 weeks. Dosing regimen for the use of powder is determined individually.
Vaginal cream is prescribed to 5 g 1 per day. The duration of treatment, no more than 14 days. The clinical effect is usually observed after 6 days. The simultaneous treatment of sexual partners.
The drug is in the form of paint applied thinly to the affected nails one time per day. Duration of treatment depends on the severity of injury, but should not exceed 6 months. During the treatment of onychomycosis is not recommended to use cosmetic nail varnish.
Avoid getting product into eyes.
Side effects of Loprox Cream:
In rare cases – the itching and burning. May cause redness and peeling of the skin around the affected nail.
Contra Loprox Cream:
